What is this product?

Dr Oetker Preserving Sugar 3:1 is the German equivalent of lower sugar jam sugar, used to turn 1.5kg of fruit or 1,250ml of juice into an intensely fruity preserve. Combine the prepared fruit or juice with the complete 500g pack in a large pan. Bring it to the boil, then boil hard for at least three minutes while stirring constantly before testing the set. Skim if needed, portion the preserve while hot into sterilised vessels and seal promptly.
