What is this product?

Dr Oetker Gelatine Fix is the German equivalent of instant powdered gelatine, used to set 250ml of liquid or 250g of cream, quark, yoghurt or fruit purée without soaking or boiling. Whisk one sachet into liquid for one minute, or let it trickle into cream while whipping. For quark or yoghurt cream, mix in the gelatine before folding in whipped cream. Add sugar last, then chill as required. Avoid fresh pineapple, kiwi, figs and mango because their enzymes break down gelatine.
