What is this product?
Brause-Brocken are the German equivalent of a sherbet cube, chunky fizzing blocks eaten straight rather than stirred into water. Each of the 10 individually wrapped pieces weighs 8 g and comes in one of four flavours: woodruff, lemon, orange and raspberry. They fizz hard on the tongue and then dissolve, which is the whole appeal and the reason German children have argued over the woodruff ones for generations. Vegan, with no gelatine. Use them as a party favour or a lunchbox surprise.

Slightly sour, very sweet, with a small tingle on the tongue as it fizzes.

The catch

Too sweet, and a bit of a stomach ache afterwards if you eat too many. Which is easy to do.

Who it's for

Do you ship chilled products?

No. We only ship products that keep at room temperature, so fresh sausages such as Bratwurst, cheese and quark are not in our range, and we do not stock soups at the moment. For a German sausage night we carry what goes with them: Hela currywurst sauce and curry ketchup, Born Thuringia Bratwurst mustard, Löwensenf and Händlmaier sweet mustard.
