What is this product?
Löwensenf Medium is the German equivalent of an everyday table mustard, served with Bratwurst, Leberkäse and cold cuts on any German plate. It is the milder sibling of the fierce Extra, built from six things and nothing more: water, mustard seed, spirit vinegar, salt, sugar and spices. The heat is present but rounded, which makes it the one Germans reach for when they want mustard flavour rather than a mustard challenge. Stir it into a dressing, or spread it on a ham sandwich.
