What is this product?
Kaba Das Original is the German equivalent of drinking chocolate powder, stirred into cold or warm milk for the classic German breakfast drink. It is made with 18 per cent fat reduced cocoa and dissolves cold, which is why German children drink it straight from the fridge rather than waiting for a pan. Two or three heaped teaspoons are enough for a glass. Generations grew up on it and nothing on a UK shelf tastes quite the same. The 400 g pack makes around 20 glasses.

Do you ship chilled products?

No. We only ship products that keep at room temperature, so fresh sausages such as Bratwurst, cheese and quark are not in our range, and we do not stock soups at the moment. For a German sausage night we carry what goes with them: Hela currywurst sauce and curry ketchup, Born Thuringia Bratwurst mustard, Löwensenf and Händlmaier sweet mustard.
