What is this product?
Bahlsen Mini Mohn-Stollen is a small poppy seed Stollen, the German equivalent of a Christmas fruit loaf with a sweet poppy seed filling, sliced and served with coffee through Advent. Poppy seed is the classic filling of Saxony and Silesia, and here it runs as a 23% layer through a soft yeast dough with raisins and candied lemon and orange peel, finished with a dusting of icing sugar. At 200 g it suits a small household or a single Kaffeetafel, so nothing dries out before it is finished. Slice it thinly, or warm a piece for a moment and add a little butter.
