Knorr Salatkrönung Italian Style Herbs Salad Dressing | 500g

Sugar, iodized table salt, starch, 9% herbs (5% parsley*, 1.8% thyme*, oregano*, 1.1% basil*), acidity regulator sodium diacetate, acidifier citric acid, onions*, garlic*, MILK sugar, ground MUSTARD seeds, 3% tomato powder*, citrus fiber, palm oil*, lovage rootstock*, pepper. *from sustainable cultivation. May contain traces of GLUTEN, SOY, EGG and CELERY.

Tip the contents of one Knorr Salatkrönung sachet into a small bowl or clean jam jar, add 3 tbsp (45 ml) cold water and whisk until smooth, then pour in 3 tbsp (45 ml) oil—rapeseed, olive or sunflower—and whisk or shake briskly for 10–15 seconds until lightly thickened and emulsified. Taste and tweak to your liking with a squeeze of lemon or about a teaspoon of white wine vinegar for extra tang, a pinch of sugar for balance, or a splash more water for a lighter consistency. Pour over roughly 300–400 g of prepared salad, toss thoroughly and serve straight away. For a lighter dressing use 2 tbsp oil to 4 tbsp water; for a richer one use 4 tbsp oil to 2 tbsp water. Nice add-ins include finely chopped chives or shallot, a small dab of mustard, or a drizzle of honey. If your sachet is a yoghurt variety, follow the pack and replace much of the oil with plain yoghurt. You can mix the dressing in a jar and keep it chilled for up to 24 hours; shake well before using.
