Mestemacher Westfälischer Pumpernickel is the classic dark German rye bread, sold in a 500g pack.
What it tastes like
Slightly sweet, which surprised me. Dense and dark, the way pumpernickel is meant to be.
The catch
Eating this every day is nothing for me. It is a bread for now and then.
Who it's for
Someone who really loves dark rye bread. If that is not you, this will not convert you.
How I eat it
Cut small, it works well as finger food at a party.
Would I recommend it?
No.
