Zentis

Zentis began on 20 June 1893, when Franz Zentis opened a grocery and colonial goods shop in Aachen. Early in the 1900s he developed a baking jam made from apricots and sugar for households and bakeries, and fruit preserves became the foundation of the business.

The company is still headquartered at Jülicher Strasse in Aachen and still carries the founder's name. Today it supplies fruit preparations to the food industry and sells jams, nut spreads, peanut butter and seasonal confectionery under the Zentis brand across Germany.

Every autumn the Süsswarenwelt range turns to marzipan: Marzipan Brot loaves in dark chocolate, cocoa dusted Marzipan Kartoffeln and Edelmarzipan pieces, the classics that fill German festive plates from the first Advent Sunday.
