I think I fell a little bit in love.

What it is

Hela Gewürz Ketchup Knoblauch is Hela's garlic version of their spiced tomato ketchup, in a 300ml bottle.

What it tastes like

The garlic comes through clearly without drowning out everything else. The label says pikant, which made me expect heat. There is none. Instead you get a pleasant spice blend over the tomato base.

The catch

Like the other Hela ketchups, it is on the sweet side. If you want a sharp or savoury ketchup, this is sweeter than you think.

Who it's for

I would recommend it without reservation. Garlic fans most of all.
