Very refreshing, and honestly underrated.

What it is

Ahoj-Brause is the classic German fizzy sherbet powder, sold as 10 sachets of 5.8g to stir into cold water.

What it tastes like

I somehow expected it to be sour. It is actually perfectly sweet, with that fizzy sherbet tingle.

The catch

I think it would taste even better with a proper sour edge. If you are after sour, this is the gentle version.

Who it's for

Honestly, pretty much anyone.

How I eat it

Stir it into sparkling water instead of still. You can also snack the powder straight from the sachet, and it mixes surprisingly well into a grown-up drink.

Would I recommend it?

Yes.
