At the end of 2012, drinks maker Vivaris in Haselünne developed Mio Mio Mate in just three months — an alternative energiser built on mate leaf extract rather than synthetic energy-drink formulas. What began as a scene product became a phenomenon.

Part of the Berentzen Group, Vivaris brews Mio Mio with natural mineral water from its own source in the Emsland. The range has grown with flavours like Ginger and Zero, and since 2025 the classics also come in the handy 330ml can.

With natural caffeine, less sugar than a cola and its unmistakable look, Mio Mio has become the studio, startup and gaming drink of a generation — now available in the UK.
